Soon I will be leaving Les Complices* and move to Cairo. But before I leave, lets celebrate the 10 years Les Complices* and I and many of you spent together! It was the most wonderful time I could possibly imagine and I will carry it in my heart forever. Looking back I'm amazed how many things had a their starting point at this small space and extended it with critical thought and inspiring questions.
We will start at 6 pm with an Apéro followed by a dinner at Les Complices*. Some time between 10 and 11 pm we will be moving over to Jeanette's Bar for a party with the great DJs That Fucking Sara and P-Tess! This is the part that involves dancing ;-)
Please join at any moment you like. Please dress in any kind of way you would like me to remember you.
If you can't make it that day, no worries: I will still be around for all the announced events and openings taking place this year at Les Complices*. The day after the party, on the 1st of November we will host a lecture performance by Uriel Orlow. On the 19th of November the opening of the exhibition by Doris Stauffer, brought about in collaboration with Simone Koller and Mara Züst, will take place.
I will hand over Les Complices* to a new generation. After the end of the year Gökçe Ergör, who has already been working with me this year, and Martina Baldinger, who took part in the last exhibition, will start to set up their program. You will be informed about their projects through this chanel. I will also inform you soon about what I'm doing in Cairo and where and how you can get regular information about it. I will stay connected to Les Complices* in the back ground, hence my Les Complices* email address will continue to be in use.
If you would like to leave me some words, thoughts or similar you can do so in a book that we keep at Les Complices*. Of course you can also send me digital contributions to the book to this email address.
