The close viewing and discussion with the audience is dedicated to the film Kate Millett parle de la prostitution avec des féministes (20min) shot 1975 by the feminist video collective vidéa in Paris. The film shows a conversation between feminist authors Kate Millett, Christine Delphy and Monique Wittig about different feminist perspectives on sex work.
The discussion took place in relation to demands put forward by sex workers at the time. In 1975 France sex workers we're exposed to increasing repression and frequent arrests. In parallel the movement of sex workers became increasingly organised and squatted several churches in various French cities.
