From 20 February to 5 March Les Complices* are collaborating in the international project "Cultural Education inter-cultural", which opens a space for encounter and exchange among students of art education from Switzerland and from Armenia. The project participants will be on a residency at Les Complices*. The art universities in Zurich, Basel and Lucerne as well as the Armenian State Pedagogical University are involved in the project.
One workshop takes place in Switzerland and a return workshop in Armenia. Both include visits in public schools, the joint development and implementation of their own art lessons in these schools. The exchange aims to give the young art teachers the opportunity to learn about alternatives to their own educational traditions and to critically examine these alternatives.
As part of "Tage Internationaler Literatur: Kaukasus" during their stay the Armenian students will conduct a public workshop on the Armenian alphabet at Literaturhaus Zurich.
