Vessels–Gefässe_ MA Transdisciplinary ZHdK

What are "Vessels"? Things merely designed to transport other things: berries, fruits, stories, and even ideas - perhaps even other vessels. But what are the ominous figures, popularized by Ursula Le Guin's concept "the carrier bag of fiction"? An alternative perspective to consider: What stories do we carry with us? Or are we always already collectors, before we are anything else? Are our bodies vessels?

Curated and realized by students of the Master Transdisciplinary Studies at the Zurich University of the Arts.

With works by Ursula Vogel, Hiba Tahhan, Daniel Riniker, Delnia Rahimzadegan, Hans-Jakob Mühletaler, Jonathan Lorand, Ula Liagaite, Ludwig Lederer, Garrick Lauterbach, Kaija Knauer, Selina Hirsch, Valentin Hehl, Micol Favini, Hannah Essler, Anya Bila, Jonas Balmer, Noe Arnold, Kirill Agafonov and the support of Caroline Baur, Nicole Frei
